Junior Day Skipper - from 8 to 16 years of age
This course is directed to children from 8 to 16 years of age and enables them to command a pleasure craft up to 6 meters in length, with an installed power of up to 4.5 kW (6HP), up to 1 mile from low tide line and 3 miles from any harbor.
Day Skipper - older than 16 years old
This certificate allows the command of a pleasure craft up to 12 meters in length, in good safety conditions and in daytime navigation up to a maximum distance of 3 miles from the coast and 10 miles from any harbor. The Sailor with 16 years to 18 years…
Local Skipper
This certificate provides knowledge that allows the conduction of any pleasure craft for navigation not more than 6 miles from the coast and 25 miles from a safe harbour. Includes the Radiotelephonist Operator Class A (VHF).
Coastal Skipper
This certificate provides knowledge that allows the conduction of any pleasure craft for navigation not more than 40 miles from the coast. Includes the Radiotelephonist Operator Class A (VHF).
Ocean Skipper
This certificate provides knowledge that allows the conduction of any pleasure craft for navigation without any area limit. Includes the Radiotelephonist Operator Class A (VHF)
